My hair is really long, it's up to my back side and i want my hair bun to look pretty. The regular bun looks too big and ugly what should i do?

A sock bun. You cut the toe off a sock- for long hair it should be a knee sock- roll it into a doughnut shape, put your hair in a ponytail where you want the bun, fit the rolled sock over it and lay your hair around the sock. Then take another ponytail holder and wrap it around behind the sock(kinda hard sometimes). The excess hair you can braid and wrap around the bun itself.
